I mentioned on our home page some of the titles that I am referred to as and here I will take just a few moments to expand a bit upon each one. I am the mother of four – 2 boys and 2 girls. My oldest is an 11 year-old boy, followed by a 7 year-old girl, a four-year old girl, and finally, a 2 year-old boy. I work full-time and attend college full-time to complete my BA followed by my Masters. My two oldest children’s father and I divorced a long time ago and I am currently married to my first love and high school sweetheart (who is the father of my two youngest). He is a stay at home father and is currently working on starting his own business. I have a half-sister, a half-brother, several step-siblings, and my much younger cousin who was raised with us in addition to my mother, my birth father, and my half-brother and sister’s father who legally adopted me and raised me. I was born in Chicago, Illinois; raised until high school just outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and have lived the remainder of my life since then in Southern California – primarily Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. At age 16, I decided that I knew all that I would ever need to know and tested out of high school in order to move out and start working full-time. I am now making up for lost time. I love my family, my work, and to write. I am hoping that my enjoyment in writing this blog will be shared by those of you who read it.
